Having worked with dogs all my life, its only natural that both my work, my love for the dogs and my hobby should overlap and simply became a way of life.

In my role as a lifelong trainer and handler, I've worked with dogs and their owners - sometimes watching the dogs grow up over the years .. sadly saying goodbye to some and fresh new hellos to others.

As a youngster myself - in a family of dog and other animal trainers, breeders and caretakers, I fell in love with photography at primary school (then called Middle School)

A book fayre came to the school and the book that caught my attention was all about photography for children.. pocket money paid - I studied that book .. & convinced someone to buy me a first camera ..it was a point and click with a built in flash ..very modern for the day.

Sadly, I hadn't allowed for the cost of batteries, film and taking trips to 'Snappy-snaps' to get them developed, and pocket money didn't stretch that far ..so my enthusiasm had to wait. But it never left.

​I found an old picture of me back then in the 70's, with the family

dog 'King' and repaired it .. (I wasn't the one taking the picture or

maybe his head would have been in it)

When you print an image, the printer needs a certain density of pixels per inch (PPI) to produce a sharp, clear photo. The standard threshold for a crisp, lab-quality print is 300 PPI.

A 50 MP Photo

Gives you roughly 8160 x 6120 pixels. At 300 PPI, you can print a massive 27 x 20 inch photo without losing fine detail, texture, or sharpness.

A 12 MP Photo 

Gives you roughly 4000 x 3000 pixels. At 300 PPI, your maximum sharp print size without resizing is about 13 x 10 inches.

Our portraits will be shot at 50mp

The candid shots we take daily that you see on our social media are at 12mp. Booked shoot sessions will be at 50mp
